What makes this a “woven” blanket?
The design is woven right into the fabric with colored threads — not printed on the surface. That gives it a rich, tapestry-like texture you can feel, and it means the design won’t crack, peel, or fade off the way a printed blanket can. This is the heirloom option.

Is it soft or more decorative?
Both. It’s a substantial, cozy weave that’s genuinely good for snuggling, but it also looks beautiful draped over a couch or the foot of a bed. Pro Tip: wash it once before first use — it softens noticeably.

Woven vs. fleece — which should I choose?
Woven is the textured, heirloom keepsake — the one you hand down. Fleece (Sherpa) is plush, lightweight, and extra soft for everyday cuddling. Same designs, two different feels — pick by what matters more: legacy or coziness.

Can I machine wash it?
Yes — cold, gentle, tumble low or lay flat (see our Easy Care notes). No dry cleaning. It’s made to be used and loved, not babied.
